It’s easy to get started. Just enter your postcode and click “Go” to find your nearest screens.

Hints & tips

Before starting, we recommend that you print out the Quick Start Guide (PDF) so that you can refer to (if necessary) as you create and place your local Ad.

Choose a local area

Linklocal will map all the screens in a 5 mile radius of your postcode and provide a summary of the number of screens that belong on each network.

Pick the type of network(s) you want to advertise on, then use the search tool at the bottom of the page to find screens in your area.

Finally click the "Next" button to pick the sites where you want to place your advert.

Hints & tips

The search tool will allow you alter your search request based on postcode, radius from postcode, region or county.

Using your mouse buttons, you can zoom in/out on the map.

If you click on a map marker, the right hand panel will temporarily show the site details.

If you select the “Reset” button, the map will show all screens in the UK across all networks, so that you can start your search again.

Select your local advertising sites

Linklocal will provide a list of all the sites that meet your local search requirements.

If the list extends beyond one page, you can select the different pages using numbered links below the list.

Select the sites that you want to advertise on by checking the box next to each and selecting how long you want to advertise for.

Once selected click “Next”

Hints & tips

As you select screens, the total price and average monthly audience will be displayed at the top right .

You can show only screens with available advertising space by using the filter to the top right.

Select a local ad template

Linklocal will provide a list of local ad categories. Click a category to view its templates.

You will be provided with a selection of templates for the category.

Click a template to use as the start point to create your advertisement.

Hints & tips

You can search for templates that may suit your local business by entering your search criteria and then click the "Search" button.

If you can't find an appropriate template please press the “click HERE” link to move on to entering your details and we'll contact you to discuss creating a template that suits your needs.

Create your local ad

To create your advert you simply edit the text in each of the template text areas.

You can select a text area by hovering over it with the mouse and then clicking it.

You can alter the text, size, alignment and colour by using the controls above the template.

When you are happy with your local Ad click the "Next" button to move on to the pre-payment summary.

Hints & tips

Please note that some of the text areas may have fixed properties which cannot be changed.

In order to help make your local ad more eye catching we recommend that you use a larger text size and a different colour for your company name and contact information.

Refer to our content guidelines which show you how to create a good local ad.

If needed, you can click “Back” to select another template.

Order details

Linklocal will provide a summary of your order, detailing sites, cost, audience and your ad copy.

By clicking the screen on the bottom right, Linklocal will show your ad on-screen.

When you are happy with the order, click “next” to proceed to the secure Checkout.

Click the “Back” button if you wish to edit your text

Linklocal will summarise your order and provide a contact form.

Please enter your details correctly, noting that some items are compulsory.

Please read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the page, ensure that your Ad complies and click the “Accept” box.

Click “Next” to provide your payment details

Don’t forget to enter and apply your promo code (if you have one) which will discount your order accordingly.

Summary confirmation

Once payment has been accepted, Linklocal will provide a summary of your order.
